The Priory at Old Malton

St Mary's is the parish church of Old Malton and formerly the Gilbertine Priory. This church is a very rare jewel in the England landscape and the only Gilbertine church still offering worship nearly a millenia since its foundation.

The church dates back to Norman times and represents a peaceful sanctuary for those visiting or shopping in Malton. Spend a few moments of reflection in our building away from the noise of life for prayer and contemplation.
